La Escuela Tecnica superior de arquitectura de Madrid en la ciudad universitaria (una nueva ciudad universitaria / usos universitarios en edificios antiguos)
The technical management of this plan was enstrusted to the architect Modesto Lopez Otero. After finisching his studies in Madrid (1910) he studied in Austria and Germany. In 1927 was created the "Junta Constructora" of "Ciudad Universitaria" and some of its members travelled to see universities in the USA, such as Yale, Harvard or Massachussets. Lopez Otero saw the necessity of a new "Ciudad Universitaria" in Madrid, looking throught other examples done before suche ad Rome, Athens or Oslo.
