Abstract

Energy efficiency is one of the most significant items in architecture and urban design. There are various source of energy such as fossil fuel which is limited, natural sources (sun, wind, etc.) which depend on climate. But, one of the potential source of energy would be human power energy, especially in historical and touristic cities with a high number of visitors. According to the advancement of recent technologies in different fields, we can see its effects in planning and organizing new cities based on interdisciplinary sciences. In this regard, some researches have been done in the field of designing and manufacturing of products based on the use of energy absorption from the human body and maximum electricity production. But most of these cases are sporadic and are usually used for temporary events.
Therefore, the present research tries to organize related projects to provide practical solutions to optimize energy consumption for cities regardless of climate and non-renewable energy sources. In addition to optimizing energy, this issue also will be increased the human health and the sense of place of the citizens.
