This one is the last edition in timeof the MASCOT series of meetings, yearly organized since 2001 under the auspices of the Istituto per le Applicazioni del Calcolo(IAC) of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche(CNR), the principal organizer and co-sponsor.
