Use of photobiomodulation induced by polarized polychromatic non-coherent light in the management of adult chronic periodontitis.
Background. Polarized polychromatic noncoherent light is used in medicine for the treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. Its effect of activator and modulator of biological processes can be a valid adjunctive therapy in the treatment of periodontitis. Materials and methods. Forty adult patients affected by chronic periodontitis were included in our study and randomly divided in two groups.
