Environment quality and perceived quality in hospice: an Italian study of POE application
One of the most trustworthy assessment methods (amongst the others, which vary according to the intended use of the building in question, the quality being investigated and the users of reference) is the Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) model. In the case of hospices, POE models provide direct assessment (through what is perceived by objectively “vulnerable” users) of the most suitable physical-spatial qualities for building facilities, to those most suited for specific psychological needs.
