Business platform ecosystem: un nuovo modello organizzativo per l’innovazione sostenibile

Nonostante il crescente interesse emerso in letteratura verso l’innovazione soste- nibile, l’attenzione tributata ai modelli di business sostenibili è relativamente nuova. Questo lavoro costituisce un primo passo in questa direzione. Un modello di busi- ness sostenibile è il risultato di sinergie tecnologiche e organizzative orientate a nuove modalità di creazione e distribuzione del valore.

Business model innovation for the energy management of building networks in smart cities

In recent years, buildings have been equipped with building and automation control systems (BACS) that provide a reliable active energy efficiency measure for reducing energy consumption. These advanced systems allow to use and regulate technological implants in the best possible way in response to change in the external environmental conditions, ensuring at the same time the highest comfort for the building’s occupants.

A sustainable innovation in the Italian glass production. LCA and Eco-Care matrix evaluation

The world glass containers production in 2015 reached 50.63 million of tonnes (MT), and is estimated to grow by 2022, achieving 65.42 MT. In Italy in 2016 the production was 4.6 MT, by registering an increment of 3.2% compared with 2015. The glass transformation process occurs in high temperature ovens, where the fusion stage takes place. The life cycle of this commodity is correlated to the exploitation of natural resources, as well as to the emissions of different greenhouse gases (GHG), that have negative effects on natural environment system.
