This contribution investigates the transformations, starting from the
16th century, of the façade of Palazzetto Baschenis Borghese, located in the
ancient area of the Porto di Ripetta in the Campo Marzio district in Rome. It is
part of an ongoing research project aimed at analysing architectural façades and,
through the creation of virtual models of altered or no longer existing buildings,
at the representation and knowledge of the urban metamorphoses of the area.

Sulla base di vaste campagne di rilevamento Letarouilly elabora una ricca produzione grafica volta ad indagare il repertorio monumentale rinascimentale di Roma volgendo la sua attenzione anche al disegno di scene urbane, in cui con l’ausilio di tecniche allora innovative, come la camera chiara, indaga e documenta sistemi compositivi urbani. Attraverso il confronto tra il rilievo storico dell’architetto francese e la rappresentazione digitale il contributo si propone di rappresentare le trasformazioni dell’area dove un tempo sorgeva il porto di Ripetta.
