Objective. Renal involvement in systemic sclerosis (SSc) ranges from urinary abnormalities, reduction of glomerular filtration rate, and high renal resistive index, to scleroderma renal crisis. Intrarenal resistance indices are considered markers of renal SSc-associated vasculopathy.
