The restoration of modern architecture have plently entered in the theory of conservation of monuments. For this kind of architecture the principal problem is to join authenticity with interventions for repairing, may be substituting, which takes part in order to conserve. Within restoration of modern architecture, although technological differences and the use of reinforced concrete as innovative material, does´nt meens any doctrinal and methodical difference with the restoration of historic or traditional buildings.

The aim of this study is to validate the Italian version of the Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Positive Identity Measure (LGB-PIM), developed by Riggle and colleagues (2014). The LGB-PIM evaluate positive LGB identity in sexual minorities through five dimensions: self-awareness, authenticity, community, intimacy, and social justice. The instrument was administered to 429 participants (129 lesbians; 179 gay males; 121 bisexuals), aged from 18 to 57 years (M = 27.20; DS = 7.26).

The South African honey industry will benefit from a reliable method that can verify authenticity as well as detect fraudulence of honey that is on the market. This work presents the use of near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy in combination with chemometrics as a fast and relatively inexpensive method to discriminate between authentic South African and imported and/or adulterated honey.

La fiducia è uno dei nodi critici dell'ambiente digitale. I documenti archiviati e gestiti nel Cloud non possono essere ritenuti affidabili usando lo stesso approccio e gli stessi strumenti del passato. PaaST (Preservation as a Service for Trust) è un progetto di ricerca sulla conservazione digitale, il cui obiettivo è la creazione di un modello per conservare i documenti digitale nel Cloud mantenendo la loro autenticità. Il modello intende definire azioni, agenti e oggetti, tutti interagenti in uno spazio non limitato ad un singolo deposito o sistema.

This chapter explores intellectual control over records, focusing on metadata, records management and arrangement and description as strategies to exercise siuch control. In particular, Section 1 identifies and explores some assumptions underlying traditional approaches to arrangement and description alogn with the opportunities to use technology to enhance existing practice. Section 2 presents some considerations on metadata and authenticity based on the InterPARES 2 Benchmark and Baseline Requirements.

Purpose of the paper: This paper aims to investigate how technology affects the cultural heritage (CH) experience and how it may configure a new service ecosystem, enabling resource integration, and leveraging resource liquefaction.
Methodology: A model with four dimensions of CH experience is proposed and empirically tested using structural equation modeling with data on 300 visitors to three heritage sites in Rome (Italy), which exhibit a high level of technology integration.
