Simplify Node-RED For End User Development in SeismoCloud

Networks of IoT devices often require configuration and definition of behavior by the final user. Node-RED is a flow-based programming platform commonly used for End User Development, but it requiresnetworking and protocols skills in order to be efficiently used. We add a level of abstraction to Node-REDnodes in order to allow non-skilled users to configure and control networks of IoT devices and onlineservices. We applied such abstractions to the SeismoCloud application for earthquake monitoring

Human-centered Cybersecurity International Workshop at CHItaly 2019

This paper describes the first edition of the Human-Centered Cybersecurity workshop, held in conjunction with CHItaly 2019. Cyber attacks have been increasing in the recent years. Although users have been identified as one of the major security weaknesses in today's technologies, many cyber-attack preventions focus on systems and technology without addressing user-related issues. The workshop aims at attracting researchers and practitioners whose research addresses human related topics of cybersecurity. This paper also reports a brief description of the accepted contributions.
