Thanks to a cooperation between Archivio di Epigrafia Latina Silvio Panciera, based at Sapienza University of Rome, and Museo Nazionale Romano, 12 unpublished funerary inscriptions from Rome are studied and published here for the first time by a little group of young scholars, applying the fundamental knowledge and research tools, both traditional and digital, that they have learned as undergraduate students of Latin Epigraphy. The result is a set of new, interesting data related to Greek and Roman names, imperial slaves and freedmen, and epigraphic formulas.
