Educazione di genere, diritti civili, scenari della formazione. Una ricerca comparativa su futuri insegnanti e assistenti sociali (Università dell’Aquila-Universitat de Barcelona)

La ricerca presentata in questo contributo nasce da alcune riflessioni stimolate dal rovente clima che ha accompagnato negli ultimi anni il dibattito politico e quello pubblico in tema di discriminazioni di genere, di diritti civili delle persone LGBT e di indirizzi educativi e pedagogici che da più parti si è cercato di proporre nell’ottica di un’apertura necessaria quantomeno rispetto al tempo storico che viviamo, in cui la libertà di espressione delle identità personali (anche in tema di sessualità) è diventata l’ulteriore frontiera dell’affermazione dei diritti umani.

Attitudes towards same-sex parenting in Italy. The influence of traditional gender ideology

This study aimed to examine the role of gender ideology, religiosity and political conservatism on attitudes toward same-sex parenting in Italy at a time when same-sex parent families are undergoing attacks from ideological campaigns opposing non-traditional gender roles and families. We collected data from 4,187 heterosexual respondents about attitudes towards two-father and two-mother parenting, homonegativity, attitudes toward traditional masculinity and femininity, religious involvement and political conservatism.

Exploring networked interactions through the lens of location-based dating services. The case of italian grinds users

LGBTQ people have made intensive use of digital media for their social interactions, having been among the first users to effectively explore the blurring boundaries between the online and the offline realms, with special regard to Location-Based Social Networks (LBSN) (de Souza e Silva & Frith, 2010). As Mowlabocus (2010a, p. 6) observes, ‘the web has always been used by gay men as a means by which physical interaction could be sought, negotiated and organized. Gay men’s digital spaces have historically provided an environment in which offline intimacies can be facilitated’.
