Measurement Invariance of Three Narcissism Questionnaires Across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany

With a recent surge of research on narcissism, narcissism questionnaires are increasingly being translated and applied in various countries. The measurement invariance of an instrument across countries is a precondition for being able to compare scores across countries.

Gender differences and measurement bias in the assessment of adult intelligence: evidence from the Italian WAIS-IV and WAIS-R standardizations

Research on gender differences in intelligence has led to inconsistent results. Different methods seem to provide different estimates using the Wechsler scales. The present study analyzed WAIS-IV and WAIS-R standardization data. We assessed gender differences in subtest scores, indices, and IQs and used a Multi-Group Confirmatory Factor Analysis (MGCFA) to investigate whether gender differences were due to differences in ability factors or test bias. The larger effect sizes in favor of men were found in the Arithmetic subtest and the Working Memory Index of the WAIS-IV.

A cross-cultural study on the psychometric quality of the italian version of the Dutch Work Addiction Scale

We investigated the psychometric properties of the Italian version of the Dutch Work Addiction Scale (DUWAS) by using an Italian
sample (N = 1,027) and a comparable Dutch sample (N = 7,523). We first conducted multigroup confirmatory factor analysis and reliability
analysis. We then examined the correlations of the DUWAS with job demands, work-family conflict, job-related affective well-being, and
psychological and physical strain. Results showed that a two-factor solution of the DUWAS was equivalent across the Italian and Dutch
