BACKGROUND: Recently, the potential rehabilitation value of music has been examined and music-based interventions and techniques such as the Negative Mismatch (MMN) have been increasingly investigated in the neurological rehabilitation context. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of a negative mismatch-based therapy on the disability and quality of life in patients with stroke in sub-acute phase. METHODS: Thirty patients with a stroke diagnosis in sub-acute phase were randomly assigned to one of two groups: Mismatch (Mg) or Control (CTRLg) group.

The pandemic is causing significant job losses and a strong increase in unemployment, including the hidden one. With the beginning of the economic recovery, the social safety nets on which public intervention was based during the lockdown are no longer adequate, and it becomes extremely important to modify the policy mix by including active policies. In order to underpin this argument, evidence provided by economic literature published during the lockdown is leveraged.

Il capitolo mostra come la teoria dell’evoluzione integra l’approccio meccanicistico ai disturbi mentali, proprio delle scienze cognitive, ricaratterizzando l’influenza della componente ambientale nell’eziologia di tali disturbi e introducendo la variabile delle cosiddette cause remote.
