AIM:
In patients affected by atrophic body gastritis (ABG) gastro-oesophageal reflux (GER) related symptoms have been reported, despite the presence of hypochlorhydria.
OBJECTIVE:
Objectives of this single-centre study was to assess in ABG the occurrence of GER-related symptoms and their relationship with histopathologic oesophageal findings.
