Decision support methods for public-private partnerships: an application to the territorial context of the Apulia Region (Italy)

In this research a methodology to support decisions of Public Administrations in the definition of planning parameters of urban regeneration initiatives to be implemented with the involvement of private investors is applied. The decision support method proposed borrows the logic of the Break-Even Analysis. The model is applied to an urban area located in a city of the Apulia Region (Italy), which has been promoting urban redevelopment policies, investing significant public funding.

A fuzzy multi-criteria decision model for the regeneration of the urban peripheries

The regeneration of the urban peripheral areas is undoubtedly among the most complex issues with which the Public Administrations are currently facing. Different interests, often conflicting, coming from citizens, entrepreneurs and stakeholders, focus on these areas. In the present research a fuzzy multi-criteria decision model is proposed, as support of the Public Administration in the analysis of different scenarios, referred to different temporal moments.

The Effects of Urban Transformation Projects on the Real Estate Market: A Case Study in Bari (Italy)

In the present research the effects of urban transformation projects on the housing prices have been analyzed. With reference to a redevelopment initiative in the peripheral area of the city of Bari (Southern Italy), the study has been carried out on a sample of two hundred residential properties, sold in the period 2017–2019 and located in the peripheral district. The main influencing factors considered by sellers and buyers in the negotiation phase have been collected.
