The use of complex machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) systems has become central to decision-making processes in critical sectors such as healthcare, finance, and public administration.
The mission of HERCOLE Lab (Human-Explainable, Robust, and COllaborative LEarning) is to promote, through interdisciplinary research and innovation, the development of next-generation ML/AI systems that are not only accurate but also explainable and transparent for diverse end users, resilient to adversarial attacks, and decentralized to enhance privacy protection.
