Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) etiology is poorly understood. Chronic low-grade inflammation plays a role. Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field therapy (PEMF) consists in low frequency pulsed energy waves (1–50?Hz), successfully employed in several conditions to reduce inflammation. A recent study explored PEMF therapy on BPH in dogs. We designed a pilot clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy of PEMF in human BPH
