Arredi scultorei altomedievali dalla chiesa di S. Pietro di Leopoli-Cencelle

The preliminary results presented here are part of a bigger research project about early medieval sculptures from Leopoli-Cencelle. The main purpose of this article is to propose new fragments of liturgical ornaments found during the archaeological excavations of the romanic church of St.-Peter in Cencelle. They have been reused like pavement of the church, near the baptismal font, but they have been stolen. These sculpture stand a physical reminders of the liturgical furniture of the pope Leo IVth.
