Hosted by the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in Ås, where the first landscape architecture study programme in Europe opened in 1919, the 2019 ECLAS Conference celebrated 100 years of landscape architecture education in Europe. The event aimed specifically at providing an analytical reading of ‘how landscape architecture education has evolved, developed and adapted to critical environmental and societal needs, and how it can go forward in facing contemporary challenges’.
