Progettare e valutare la creatività a scuola. Indicazioni dalle scienze cognitive
Creativity is a learning objective explicitly required by the Recommendation on Key Competences for Lifelong Learning and school national documents. According to this point of view, this essay an operative strategy aimed at improving creativity at school. On the basis of the evidence collected by and the relevant theoretical frameworks derived from cognitive sciences, in particular from cognitive neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and the science of the artificial, we define creativity and we argue that it represents a malleable property of the mind, and so a potential object of educative intervention. Then we select and analyze the key dimensions of creativity and we propose that each of them can represent a specific learning objective, promoted by teaching activities and supported by evaluative practices.
