A matter of style. Ceramic evidence of contacts between the Orontes valley and the southern Levant during the mid-late third millennium BC

The article provides a reconsiderations of evidence of interactions between the northerna and the southern Levant during Early Bronze IV, in particular through the analysis of the Black Wheel-made Ware in the southern Levant, and the phenomenon of the so-called "Grey Wares" of central and southern Syria, to which it is connected. This way, the role played by the Orontes Valley in fuelling north-south connectivity during this period is re-analysed, with emphasis on changes between Early Bronze IVA and IVB.
