Interessi di ricerca

My research focuses on mosquito vectors of human and zoonotic diseases, with particular reference to Afrotropical malaria vectors and European arbovirus vectors, with the objective to clarify different aspects of mosquito vector bionomics, distribution, evolution and genomics and ultimately contribute to deciphering the factors affecting the epidemiology of the diseases they transmit and provide novel perspectives and tools for their study, as well as for their surveillance and control.
