  • Pyrolysis of plastic waste and biomass for the production of bio-oil
  • Gasification of biomass for syngas production: synthesis of catalysts for tar reforming and gas cleaning
  • Hydrothermal liquefaction of organic waste with high moisture content for bio-crude production(Collaboration with Aix-Marseille University)
  • Chemical recycling of plastics through pyrolysis and hydrothermal liquefaction: production of chemicals and monomers
  • Development of catalysts for the upgrading of bio-crude and bio-oil and utilization of waste materials as catalysts or catalyst supports (Collaboration with ENEA)
  • Study of reaction mechanisms for the decomposition of organic matter in pyrolysis and hydrothermal liquefaction processes (MSCA-Doctoral Network Project: UpCycle)
