- Studio del ruolo degli FGFR nella regolazione dei processi cellulari come transizione epitelio-mesenchima, migrazione, fagocitosi, autofagia e differenziamento delle cellule epiteliali;

- studio della modulazione delle vie di segnalazione degli FGFR indotta dall'espressione di oncoproteine ​​del papillomavirus umano (HPV): alterazione della proliferazione e del differenziamento epiteliale;

- studio del ruolo del mesotelio nella diffusione peritoneale di carcinomi del tratto gastrointestinale;

- studio del crosstalk tra stato redox e ritmo molecolare circadiano nelle cellule epiteliali;

- studio degli effetti della microgravità sulla risposta alla riparazione dei tessuti.
