A Digital Library of Translation. The history of 5 foreign literatures in 20th century Italy: modern Greek, Serbian, Croatian, Romanian, and Czech

The research proposal aims to create a Digital Library that will contain texts of modern Greek, Serbian, and Croatian, Romanian and Czech, literature translated in Italian. The purpose of the research project is the creation of a digital library that will promote the translated texts. Another goal is the exhaustive bibliographic recording, description and analysis of all products related to the history of the above foreign literatures in Italy during the 20th century (1900-1999).

Questo è un gruppo di ricerca nato attorno alle cattedre di Filologia Romanza della Sapienza di Roma ed è parte integrante del più ampio progetto Letteratura Europea. Composto da professori e ricercatori di varie università, appartenenti a varie aree disciplinari e aperto a tutti i contributi in linea con il suo programma, ha come oggetto di studi la lirica romanza intesa come una tradizione culturale unitaria che ha le sue radici nella classicità e nel medioevo latino.

The research team aims to collect evidence about the work of scholars dealing with Central and Eastern European subjects, in the field of the Humanities, during the XXth century.
