Our laboratory conducts translational research in oncology and biomedicine, focusing on genetic and molecular analysis of biological samples. Our main activities include: culturing and characterising tumour cell lines for functional and pharmacological studies; genetic and molecular analysis of blood and tumour tissue using next-generation sequencing (NGS), PCR and other advanced techniques; Study of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) for immunological profile characterisation; Liquid biopsy for the analysis of circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) and other biomarkers with potential diagnostic and prognostic value.
