A bad romance. Sexting motivations and teen dating violence

Sexting has been commonly defined as the sharing of sexually suggestive content via new technologies. The relationship between sexting motivations and both online and offline aggressive behaviors (i.e., sexual harassment, dating violence, and bullying) is still understudied. This study aimed to investigate the association between three sexting motivations—sexual purposes, instrumental/aggravated reasons, and body image reinforcement—and teen dating violence.

What do pediatric surgeons think about sexual issues in dealing with patients with anorectal malformations? The ARM-Net consortium members’ opinion

Purpose Since pediatric surgeons aim to follow their patients with anorectal malformations (ARM) into adulthood the aim of this study was to investigate how pediatric surgeons deal with sexual issues related to ARM.
Methods In 2018, a questionnaire was developed by the working group “Follow-up and sexuality” of the ARM-Net consortium and sent to all consortium-linked pediatric surgeons from 31 European pediatric surgical centers. Obtained data were statistically analyzed.

HP-08-004 Factors involved in sexual function and sexual satisfaction in patients undergoing inflatable penile prosthesis implantation

Objective: Penile prosthesis implantation (PPI) represents the gold standard
treatment for erectile dysfunction when conservative approaches (oral PDE-5
inhibitors, transurethral suppositories or prostaglandin injections) fail.
Although many studies about PPI have been published so far, data about
psychosexual dimensions and attitudes towards sexuality are lacking. The
aim of this study was to analyse the factors involved in sexual function and
sexual satisfaction in patients undergoing inflatable penile prosthesis
implantation.
