Methods: a Retrospective Analysis of Prospectively Maintained Rarc-Ion Dataset Was Performed. Baseline DemoGraphic, Clinical, Pathologic, Perioperative and Follow-Up Data Were Collected. Trifecta Was Defined As The Coexistence of Daytime Urinary Continence, Clavien-Dindo ≥3 Complication-Free and Recurrence-Free Status, All Assessed At 1 Year.

Robotic versus laparoscopic radical nephrectomy: a large multi-institutional analysis (ROSULA Collaborative Group)

Objective: To compare the outcomes of robotic radical nephrectomy (RRN) to those of laparoscopic radical nephrectomy (LRN) for large renal masses. Methods: This was a retrospective analysis of RRN and LRN cases performed for large (≥ cT2) renal masses from 2004 to 2017 and collected in the multi-institutional international database (ROSULA: RObotic SUrgery for LArge renal masses). Peri-operative, functional, and oncologic outcomes were compared between each approach.

Effectiveness of Hysteroscopic Techniques for Endometrial Polyp Removal: The Italian Multicenter Trial

Study Objective: To compare the effectiveness and safety of different techniques of hysteroscopic polypectomy. Design: Multicenter, prospective observational trial (Canadian Task Force classification II-2). Setting: Nineteen Italian gynecologic departments (university-affiliated or public hospitals). Patients: Consecutive patients suffering from endometrial polyps (EPs). Interventions: Hysteroscopic polypectomy, as performed through different techniques. Measurements and Main Results: Included in the study were 1404 patients (with 1825 EPs).

Efficacy and Safety of Adalimumab in Pediatric Ulcerative Colitis: A Real-life Experience from the SIGENP-IBD Registry

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of adalimumab (ADA) in children with ulcerative colitis (UC) previously treated with infliximab (IFX). Methods: Retrospective study including children with UC from a national registry who received ADA therapy. The primary endpoint was the rate of corticosteroid-free remission at week 52. Secondary outcomes were the rate of sustained clinical remission, primary nonresponse, and loss of response at weeks 12, 30, and 52 and rate of mucosal healing and side effects at week 52.

Efficacy of carboxymethyl beta-glucan in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia: A retrospective, case-control study

BACKGROUND: Persistent human papillomavirus (HPV) infection constitutes the principal risk factor for the development of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical cancer. For this reason, new drugs have been studied to support the host immune system against the HPV infection. Infliximab is not associated with increased risk of malignancy or hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis in pediatric patients with inflammatory bowel disease

BACKGROUND AND AIMS:
Immunosuppressive therapy for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in pediatric patients is thought to increase the risk of malignancy and lymphoproliferative disorders, including hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). We compared unadjusted incidence rates of malignancy and HLH in pediatric patients with IBD exposed to infliximab (IFX) with patients not exposed to biologics and calculated standardized incidence ratios (SIRs).
