Laboratory of Leukocyte Migration
My research focuses on:
- regulation of innate immune response, with a focus on the role of chemotactic receptors in the migration and activation of immune cells.
- discovery and characterization of new chemokines and chemotactic receptors: we contributed to the characterization ChemR23 (Chemerin1), CCR6, and atypical receptors (ACKRs) such as ACKR2 and ACKR5, and CCRL2.
- biology of innate immune cells, with a focus on myeloid cells and their role in inflammation, autoimmunity and antitumor response.
The final goal is the identification of new therapeutic strategies to boost or restore antitumor immunity.
