Indoor Air Pollution
The research focuses on the study of air circulation in indoor environments, with particular reference to the measurement of velocity fields and concentrations of chemically passive pollutants originating both from outside the environment and from internal sources. The measurements were conducted using techniques based on laser velocimetry and image analysis. The case study concerns an amphitheater classroom located at the University of Rome “La Sapienza.” The project was funded as part of a BRIC project signed with INAIL in 2022 (National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work) and coordinated by Dr. Armando Pelliccioni.
