Business Information Systems. Selected case studies.
This book is a collection of case studies related to Management Information Systems coming from Italian or International companies working in Italy. It is intended to be as a supplement to the book of Management Information Systems for the Information Age (Stephen Haag, Maeve Cummings, McGraw Hill) for Italian students studying in English language. The book from Haag and Cummings, in fact, is a basic source of information for students willing to understand the fundamental role of information systems in order to obtain information to be used for decision making, but, actually, contains a large
number of case studies coming from American companies. The present book aims to show how Italian companies or, however, companies working in Italy, use information systems in order to reach their goals in a more effective and productive way.
