The volume describes, through the contribute of different authors, the phenomenon of the Grand Tour from the beginning to the early twentieth century in the area of the Alban Hills. The experience of the voyage was different for each grandtourist, and sometimes it is interesting to note that people making the same tours in the same period had different opinions and feedbacks.
