Septate uterus and reproductive outcomes: let's get serious about this

It is not without a great deal of disappointment and disbelief that we are writing this letter after reading a recent manuscript recentlypublished in this journal by Rikken et al entitled “Septum resection in women with a septate uterus: a cohort study.In conclusion, we acknowledge the authors’ effort to provide novel evidence about this topic. Nevertheless, based on the numerous biases and important limitations, we feel the ethical obligation to alert the medical community to exert extreme caution before guiding clinical practicebased on this study, whichcould mislead against hysteroscopic correction ofseptate uteri in the infertile patient
