My research interests lie in geomorphology. My work is grounded in geomorphological surveys of both natural and urbanized areas, and I use the resulting data to create geomorphological maps that depict landscape evolution and human impact.

This knowledge also enables me to conduct geomorphological heritage (geoheritage) inventories and assessments. These inventories are valuable tools for sustainable development, as they can be used to tell the story of Earth's history and highlight the role of humans.

I am also interested in the connections between geodiversity, landforms, biodiversity and land use. Exploring these relationships helps understanding how to plan landscape conservation and management strategies, contributing to sustainable development.
