Andrea Ariano is an Italian architect and Ph.D. candidate in Architecture – Theories and Project at Sapienza,  University of Rome. He is teaching assistant in Information Technology in Architecture - CAAD (Computer Aided Architectural Design) class held by professor Antonino Saggio in the Faculty of Architecture of Sapienza, University of Rome. He has published several projects and articles, a selection of his work can be found on his website urbanprosumer.com. His research agenda focuses on the intersection between urban design, IT technologies, and sustainability and on the paradigm shift resulting from thinking about the city as software and space as information.
