Ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca in Teoria Economica e Istituzioni presso l'Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata. I suoi interessi di ricerca si concentrano sui temi dell’economia della salute e del lavoro, dell’economia pubblica e della demografia economica. I suoi lavori più rilevanti sono pubblicati sulle riviste come Journal of Health Economics, Demography, Labour Economics, Health Policy e altri.
