My main research interests and publications focus on nuclear issues and public opinion during the Cold War, on peace movements in the late 20^th-early 21^st century, and on Italian politics after World War II. In 2020, I published a book on cultural representations of the atom and public attitudes towards nuclear issues in the United States, France, and Italy during the 1960s (Culture atomiche. Gli Stati Uniti, la Francia e l’Italia di fronte alla questione nucleare, 1962-68, Carocci, Roma). Since 2019, I have been a contributor to the open access digital archive of the Edizione Nazionale dell’Epistolario di Alcide De Gasperi. My most recent research project and book deals with Italy’s politics, peace movements, and public debate during the Gulf War (L'Italia e la guerra del Golfo. Istituzioni, partiti, società 1990-91, Carocci, Roma, 2022).
