Interessi di ricerca

L'attività di ricerca si occupa dell studio di vari aspetti della sintesi organica di intermedi e sostanze naturali bioattive e dell'organocatalisi asimmetrica nella loro SINERGIA con altri campi di ricerca e applicazioni tra cui: materiali polimerici e biopolimerici, chimica farmaceutica, biologia e biotecnologie e molti altri. 

Linee di ricerca attive in qualità di responsabile:

  • Sintesi stereoselettiva di composti organici mediante l’utilizzo di organocatalisi asimmetrica e reazioni domino/one-pot

  • Sintesi di composti organici di interesse industriale e farmaceutico per via elettrochimica

  • Sintesi di Carbon-Quantum-Dots (CDs), chirali o non chirali, per via elettrochimica o solvotermica e loro applicazioni come catalizzatori, sensori fluorescenti e veicoli di principi attivi
