Lorenzo Termine, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sapienza University of Rome and an Adjunct Professor at both the University of International Studies in Rome (UNINT) and the American University of Rome. Additionally, he is affiliated with the Research Center “Cooperation with Eurasia, the Mediterranean, and Sub-Saharan Africa” (CEMAS) and the Center for Geopolitical and IR Studies “Geopolitica.info,” where he coordinates research and the Indo-Pacific desk. He earned his PhD in Political Studies from Sapienza University of Rome.

Dr. Termine has served as a Scientific Reviewer for Treccani and as a Contributor to the Italian Ministry of Defense Institute of Research and Analysis. He has held visiting positions at Georgetown University, the Université Internationale de Rabat, and the University of Pittsburgh. His teaching experience spans various platforms, including universities such as Sapienza, UNINT, AUR, IULM, Teramo, Tor Vergata, Perugia, and the Italian Center for Higher Defense Studies, as well as think tanks like Geopolitica.info and educational institutions like Sole24Ore Business School and ChinaFiles.

He obtained his Laurea (B.A.) in Political Science and his Magistrale (M.Sc.) in Security studies from the University of Roma Tre, graduating with Honors in both. In addition to his PhD from Sapienza University of Rome, he has received training from institutions such as IPSA, ECPR, East China Normal University, TOChina, Torino World Affairs Institute, Stimson Center, International Public Policy Association, and EU Non-Proliferation Consortium.
