Research interests primarily focus on the development of analytical methods based on liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry for the determination of various substances, primarily peptides in proteomics applications, but also natural substances and contaminants in food and environmental matrices.

A second research interest within this context also focuses on the development of selective materials for the enrichment and determination of target analytes from complex matrices.
