Interessi di ricerca

Prof Marianecci started her scientific carrier working in the field of drug delivery, in particular on the preparation and characterization of pH-sensitive vesicles. In last years she focused her research on the preparation and the characterization of phospholipid and surfactant vesicles, pH-sensitive vesicles, suitable for drug delivery in several pharmaceutical applications: topical, ophthalmic, diagnostic, pulmonary, oral, CNS disorders and cellular targeting. Recently she approached also deep studies related to physical-chemical characterization of vesicular formulations as drug delivery systems, preparation of mixed systems polymer/vesicles, nanoemulsions and nanobubbles for different therapeutic and diagnostic applications.
