Interessi di ricerca

My university education has been focused on the Bayesian approach and a deep understanding of Markov Chain Monte-Carlo techniques. During my Ph.D. I deepened my knowledge and made research in the context of spatial-temporal processes, with a particular interest in the hierarchical Bayesian modeling of large sets of data. In particular, I have been lately involved in modeling the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic together with StatGroup-19. We devised a web-app open to the general public and most of our methodologies are being published in sector journals.
