My research interests focus on the systematics, phylogeny, and biodiversity of insects, with particular emphasis on Diptera, especially Tachinidae and related Oestroidea. I work on the integration of morphological, molecular, and functional data to understand evolutionary processes, biogeographic patterns, and trophic relationships, as well as the taxonomic and conservation implications of insect diversity. I am also involved in biodiversity assessment projects, digitization of museum collections, and the development of automated and data-driven tools for taxonomic research
