My main research interest is the study of the impact of excess fat mass and ectopic adipose tissue on the cardiometabolic health of patients with diabetes, particularly those with type 1 diabetes and LADA. Additionally, I am interested in identifying new biomarkers of cardiometabolic risk in patients with autoimmune diabetes in the context of overweight and obesity.
