My research interests are Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing. Specifically, the integration of new technologies and approaches like computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence with the purpose of improving production quality, reducing costs, increasing machinery uptime, analyzing failures and defects towards zero defect manufacturing.
