Research interests focus on the modelling and analysis of severe accidents and transient scenarios in nuclear facilities using system codes (MELCOR, GOTHIC), as well as on the multi-physics integration of thermal-hydraulic, neutronic and control-oriented models. Activities include the development of sensitivity and uncertainty quantification methodologies and the implementation of dynamic control tools for the simulation of complex nuclear systems. Further research lines involve the validation of models for liquid-metal-cooled reactors and the characterization of source-term mobilization mechanisms in Generation IV reactor concepts.
