We read with great interest the study by Lee et al. titled
“Effect of Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy Versus
Intra-articular Injections of Hyaluronic Acid for the
Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis. The authors were
able to evaluate and compare the effects and outcomes
of the extracorporeal shock wave therapy and intraarticular
injections of hyaluronic acid in patients with
knee osteoarthritis. This research is considered relevant
and interesting, especially because it is noted that the

Hyperprogressive disease (HPD) has been recently proposed as a new pattern of progression in patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). Until now, no biological marker has been found to predict this accelerated tumour growth. We describe the case of a 62-year-old women who experienced a marked increase in absolute eosinophil count (AEC) concurrently with a huge radiological progression after the first nivolumab dose in absence of other immune-related adverse events (irAEs).

The largest portion of the global market is dominated by a few multinational companies, but in the last years the number of independent craft breweries has increased very rapidly also in countries where there weren’t an established craft brewing tradition.

Existent literature has identified the existence of some differences between men and women entrepreneurs in terms of propensity to innovation, approach to creativity, decision making, resilience, and co-creation. Without properly examining the current inequalities in social-economic structures, it is difficult to examine the results of corporate female leadership.
