A recently found terracotta figurine of a naked lady from Ruseifah, in central Jordan, allows to illustrate a widespread
type in the Levant during the 2nd millennium BC and to identify it with the Syrian – Levantine goddess Ishtar/
Khepat during the Late Bronze Age.
