La Carta del Rischio per i centri storici. Conoscenza e gestione del patrimonio storico applicate a due centri laziali
The implementation of the Risk Map of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Goods and Activities elaborated by a group of researchers from Sapienza University with experts of the Superior Institute of Conservation and Restoration and of the Central Institute for Catalogue and Documentation has
been dedicated to the description of the features and the vulnerability of the historical centres. The work developed within the Sismi Project concerned the validation of the Urban Units model through its application to two different historical settlements. The former, Cittaducale (Rieti), is
located within the seismic crater of 2016, the latter, Genazzano (Roma) has been selected to test the model in a completely different building reality, so to be sure of its wider application on the national territory. This contribution offers a short synthesis of the methodology and of the results
gathered by the Risk Map for the historical centres in terms of expeditious survey of the vulnerability of the existing building tissue. This vulnerability can be related with the actual seismic risk of the Urban Units, merging data about the territorial danger and the constructive features without forgetting the architectural and urban values of the settlement.
